The Haunted Trail of Balboa Park

Balboa Park gets spooky for a few weeks, and this one is a mile-long outdoor walk through the pines and oaks. Expect a big maze and a carnival-style scare zone along the way. It only runs select nights through November 1, and hours change from night to night, so check the official site for the schedule and tickets before you head over.

When: Saturday, October 10, 2026 to Sunday, November 1, 2026 (Select nights through Nov 1 (City of San Diego Balboa Park 6-month calendar: 'Haunted Trails (Sept 25-Nov 1st)'). City listings show Oct 10 at 6:30 to 11:55 pm, Oct 11 at 7 to 11 pm, and further dates Oct 17, 18 and 19.)
